Operations Controller – Pel-Air

Pel Air is recruiting for the full-time position of Operations Controller, located at Pel-Air Head Office in Mascot, NSW.  Reporting:Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Pel-Air Operations Controller plans, coordinates and monitors all charter (and some non-charter) flights and provides a central communication point for day to day operations.The applicant should be highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve and be able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment. The Operations Controller position is a multi-faceted, full-time shift work role and involves the ability to be on call on weekends and as required on other days.Position Responsibilities:Oversee all Pel-Air Aviation daily operations and provide flight following for all flights.Working on a rotating roster to include on-call & specific duties when rostered to work on weekends.Oversee the travel and accommodation arrangements of the crew on duty and training.Update operational computer systems as required, including planning and building crew rosters.Liaise with handling agents, fuel agents and other parties to provide accurate information on all flights.Monitor flights for On Time Performance and reporting any delay reasons.Coordinate any disruptions with other Operations personnel. Formulate and action disruption plans.
